Paper Castles
This is a project created in 2005 and produced its first fruit in 2006. Buildable postcards of Chilean architectural monuments, this particular postcard is part of the German colonial homes.
The interesting thing is that by displaying what looks like a greeting card and mount according to the instructions given as a result, the three-dimensional model of the monument in question.
This is thought to function as souvenirs for tourists: you take it folded into the suitcase and when you reach destiny, mount it (no adhesive) and TADA! you have your toy Home to admire.
This object is directly related to Proyecto Ensamble for several reasons: One because it’s from the same authors, the mounting was solved with a system of “assembly” of tabs on slots, and it’s made of paper.
Luckily for you from now on! this will be available in the shop of Proyecto Ensamble.
Sudala 2011 summary
This is a summary of Sudala 2011 under the lens of Proyecto Ensamble. This year the event took place in the cultural center Chimkowe in Peñalolen, with 2 days of talks, market (in which we participated) and closing with the traditional feast.
To surprise the attendees of this year we presented in the market “Ensamble cushions” with “soft” but square edges which makes you want to squeeze them, the recently launched series 3 “Mexico”, resin Ensamble figures, among other things.
Also during the event came an unexpected alliance with Academy Mac, which was experimenting with digital mapping in our Ensamble figures.
Well in the video that sums it up, you can see some pictures of what we are talking. More about what we are updating in facebook as we get the material.
Greetings to those who we first met and for those already fans of our publications.
In Sudala 2011
Tomorrow, October 7, Proyecto Ensamble will be in Sudala, a place where different points of view about design mix. New products will be shown there. See you in Sudala!
